This is where I am hoping to help the most in. I have a number of ideas for the CIC, starting with the incorporation of a "Benefit Corporation" at the core of the organization.
A Benefit Corporation is a for-profit corporation that puts the goals of the organization above the financial gains of the shareholders, protecting the Board from lawsuits when decisions made by the board are preceived as wrong decisions because they don't maximize the financial return to shareholders.
